Okay, so I am in need of food storage deals. I have a great stock of my everyday foods and toiletries, but I really need to work on my long term storage and get my 3 month supply in order.
I am asking all of you for help finding deals! I also want to know what food storage tastes good (ie. brands of powdered milk) and what bakes well (ie. powdered eggs, butter, etc). Also, recipes for making meals from your food storage would be great!
Thanks so much for all of your help!!

Here's an awesome recipe we use at least once a week. It helps me use my wheat when I am too lazy to grind wheat and make bread. This one is super fast and sooo good. A strong blender works best. If not, just blend it a little longer--be sure to experiment so it doesn't come out chewy. When you have it down, you will love it!
Blender Pancakes
1 C. wheat kernels
1 ¼ C. milk
1 egg
1/3 C. oil
1 T. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
1-2 T. sugar
Blend wheat and milk for 3-5 minutes in blender. Add the rest, and blend just until mixed. Pour straight from the blender onto the griddle. Cook and enjoy!
Also, I tried powdered PB. It is OK to bake with, but does NOT taste the same as regular. You even have to add oil to use it in cookies. But, the price is right!
Gook luck to you!

We use the blender pancake recipe all the time. We make it with powdered milk and eggs. Can't tell the difference in taste, but a slightly different texture.
FYI: We prefer Moo's Milk to regular dryed milk.
