BYU has periodic surplus sales. I haven't personally been to one, but I've heard that they have some great sales. If you've been to one, I'd love to hear what you thought!

Electronic and Furniture Surplus Sale
Everyone starts at the same time. So get in line early.
People wanting only furniture must line up with everyone else on the east side of the building.
Chairs, desks, file cabinets, office chairs, stack chairs, wooden cabinets, shelves,
wooden desks and metal desks, book shelves, large selection. Media carts(plenty), wall cabinets, built in cabinets.
We appreciate everyone that came to our last sale and for their patience. We are trying to improve each sale and make sure everyone can have time to inspect and purchase what they desire. If you can quickly search, make your choices and move to the cashier; more people will have the opportunity to search the treasures.
