How to Earn Money from Paid Surveys

If you're looking to earn a little extra cash from home, you may be interested in participating in paid surveys. Like I said before, you are not going to get rich doing these, but you can make a little extra money.

I have been reading blogs about people who do these surveys regularly and they make anywhere from $25 - $1000/month! I’d love to be the one that makes $1000/month!! I’ve been doing surveys off and on for a couple of years, but I’ve never been serious about it. So I’ve signed up for a few more companies and I’m on a mission! I’ve set a goal for myself of $100/month.

Once again, most of these have referral options available. Please know that I am not writing about these for the referrals! These are legitimate ways that I make money. If you do want a referral, leave a comment with your email and what program you want. I will not post any comments with email addresses for privacy protection. Or you can email me directly at centsofsavings@gmail.com.

Here are some tips:

1. Sign up for a separate email account just for surveys. Yahoo, Hotmail and Gmail all offer free and easy email set up.

2. Download the free version of Roboform. Roboform automatically fills in forms for you with the click of your mouse, saving you lots of time and headache. This is a must! I love this program!!

3. Never join a survey site that asks for payment. All of the sites listed below are ones I belong to myself.

4. Sign up for as many companies as you can. The more companies you're signed up with, the more survey invitations you'll receive and the more money you'll earn. You won't get survey opportunities from each one every day. Don't be disappointed if you don't receive many survey invitations from one company. Survey invitations are based on certain demographics, and if you're not a good fit, you won't get invitations. Some companies work really well for one person and not for another.

5. Fill out as much profile information as possible. You will be more likely to receive survey invitations.

6. Pay attention to the incentive. Usually when you receive a survey invitation, you will be told what the incentive is - a certain dollar amount, a sweepstakes drawing, points, etc. I never bother taking surveys when they are for a sweepstakes - I don't feel that it is worth my time.

7. Don't be afraid of sites that offer points rather than cash. You can bank up your points and redeem them for prizes, gift cards, and/or cash.

8. Evaluate how much your time is worth. Don't feel like you have to take every single survey you're invited to take.
